The speaker of the United States Congress Nancy Patricia, the House of Representatives is set to visit Ghana next week. Due to her visit, majority of Ghana’s Parliament has urged all members of the house to make themselves available to grant audience to their guest. “accordingly, members are urged to be in the house to grant audience to our guest” Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, majority leader said on the floor of the house while reading the business of the house for next week.
Nancy Pelosi will be addressing Ghana’s parliament on the 31st of July 2019. She is part of a delegation made up of members of Congressional Black Caucus as part of the year of return celebrations.
Other members to be part of this delegation includes house majority whip, James Clyburn of south Carolina, house finance committee chairwoman, Maxine Waters of California, civil right representative icon, John Lewis of Georgia, congresswoman, Shaila Jackson Lee of Texas and Somali born and congresswoman, IIhan Abdullahi Ormar of Minnesota.
