Prince Charles, the apparent heir to the British throne has tested positive for covid-19 according to reports. The Prince together with his family are currently in Scotland and have self-isolate.
The Prince who is the son of queen Elizabeth II, is the legitimate man to take over from the queen. According to reports, Prince Charles met with his mother briefly in an investiture ceremony for public awards at Buckingham palace in London on the 12th of March.
In line to that, the prince also had subsequently met with other officials in private meetings where he engaged with dignitaries from diverse backgrounds.
An official statement read “the prince of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual ”
The statement however stated that his lovely wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, was also tested but result came negative.
Buckingham palace noted that the Queen Elizabeth II remains in good health. According to the palace, the 93year old monarch was rearranging her diary as a sensible precaution and for practical in the current circumstances.
