On the president’s 14th address to Ghanaians on measures taken to the rapid spread of combat covid-19 and measures taken to ease restrictions, President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo directed that drinking bars and local tourist sites be open to do business.
This directive was issued on Sunday July 26 during his address to the nation in regard to coronavirus pandemic and steps taken to contain and combat the invisible enemy and measures put in place to gradually ease restrictions.
According to the first man of the land ‘until treatment is found, covid-19 will remain part of our lives’ and we have to live with it.
Ghana’s coronavirus case as of 26 July stands at 32,437 with 161 deaths. The president says tourism destinations, drinking bars can commence business with hygiene and other WHO measures being enforced. Ghana’s borders are still closed
